Saturday 17th May 2025

Today TRC ran a Showjumping clinic with expert tuition from Andrea Philipps at Bailey Farm.
7 riders and their steads, all of varying ages, very much enjoyed Andrea's fresh eyes and infectious enthusiasm.
In the afternoon there was chance to put those skills learned into practice, as we also ran a Member's Only SJ Show.
Starting with Clear Round- Poles on the Ground and Cross Poles, building up to courses including jump offs.
Numbers present were a little disappointing, but we appreciate there is so much on at this time of year and you can't do everything
Results as follows...
Sue Warfield and Splash got us started in style with a Double Clear in the Poles and then a lovely round in the Cross Poles.

The 55cm was keenly contested, all be it with a few Sat Nav errors!
1st Mariette Sibley and HobbIt
2nd Christine Linfoot-Symmons and Dee
3rd Belinda Price and Quincy
4th Jim Fox and Echo.

In the 60cm the heat of the day got to Jim after jumping a clear in the 1st round and they chose to retire.
1st Mariette Sibley and HobbIt
2nd Ruth Maczka and Taff
3rd Belinda Price and Quincy
4th Christine L- Symmonds and Dee.

In the 70cm class there was a 2way split with Belinda and Quincy getting his favourite colour- red frilly and Ruth and Taff  going for consistency in 2nd place.

Thank you to all who came, stayed and helped put away at the end.
Thank you to Andrea for agreeing to teach us all at TRC.
Thank you to Muriel for being the 'jack of all trades' and everyone else who made the day very enjoyable.
Diolch yn fawr. ????
